It's a deal breaker: Overkill with perfume spray 3

The Chimes, Capital University, Columbus , OH

1 day ago by Connor Thompson

Greetings and salutations beautiful young female, whom I'd love to disregard and instead acquire currency, but cannot due to the vast amount of sexual appeal radiating off of your body. I revel in admiring you from afar, however, I am now going to take a closer step towards you and act as though I actually care about this text I am pretending to study in the 'Philosophy' section of this bookstore and see if the perfume that you decided to spray on certain locations of your perfectly proportioned anatomy meets my standards.

How to spend spring break at home 2

The Denisonian, Denison University, Granville, OH

17 hours ago by Courtney Vinopal

Ah, spring break. For some, it is a time of luxurious relaxation: poolside cabanas, warm weather and exotic adventures in faraway places. For others, though, it's simply time to go home, sleep and take in one week off the hill. As nice as it is to go home for a while, things can certainly get boring when all you're doing is spending time with your remote and a bag of chips.

Give up the glam to help the glum 1

The Chimes, Capital University, Columbus , OH

13 hours ago by Liz Scott

The lights, the glitter, the glam-the Academy Awards were quite spectacular this year, as usual. Besides the awkward red carpet interviews, Cameron Diaz calling Steve Carell "Jude" because they didn't fix the teleprompter and Barbara Streisand's dress, I rather enjoyed the Oscar broadcast.

Tea-Partiers misuse tactics, spread disunity 1

The Chimes, Capital University, Columbus , OH

There's nothing that annoys me more than someone who has no idea what they're talking about and hates on people who disagree with them. That sentence seems pretty loaded and it should. I'm talking about the small, yet media-consuming "Tea Partiers." Don't get me wrong; I'm all for the First Amendment.

Joanna Newsom's Have One On Me: Drag City Always Wins

The Denisonian, Denison University, OH

2 days ago by Tristan Eden

Joanna Newsom is not to be taken seriously. In fact, it is important to understand that the artists on Drag City--the Chicago-based indie label that is home to Newsom and a number of other semi-geniuses--is not to be taken seriously. Of course, in no way does this mean that Newsom's releases--or her label mate's releases--are not brilliant, beautiful, and fully realized perfect pieces of music.

Sounding off on local and national sports headlines

The Denisonian, Denison University, OH

2 days ago by Christian Payne

Sportscenter's opening jingle sounded a lot different to me the other morning for some reason. It couldn't have been anchor Stuart Scott's "boo-yah." It wasn't the newest Twitter update about Tiger's trip back home. Watching the normal dazzling dunks, a super serving of slap-shots, and the highlights of the "Top Ten Plays" wasn't it either.
