Leadership is a skill set Ohio State tries to instill in students the moment they set foot on campus. With the planned addition of a new leadership obstacle course, students might soon have one more tool to sharpen their leadership. Tentatively called the Leadership Challenge Course, the first ropes course located at OSU is now being planned for implantation at the Adventure Recreation Center.

Tom O'Hara, veteran journalist and former managing editor at The Plain Dealer, has been hired into a new position as director of news and operations at The Lantern. The position merges the jobs of general manager and adviser to the newsroom and will give O'Hara authority over the budget as well as overall operations at The Lantern.
